Deena Kastor

Deena Kastor holds American records in the marathon, half marathon, road 15K, 8K and 5K. She won the bronze medal in the marathon at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Deena won the 2005 Chicago Marathon and the 2006 London Marathon. She was also the 2008 US Olympic Marathon trials champion, but had to pull out of the race in Beijing due to a foot injury. She will compete on the 2013 World Championship Marathon team in Moscow, Russia. Deena lives and trains in California with her husband and their daughter, Piper. She runs for the Mammoth Track Project and Asics.
